A report on the inquest into the death of Ms Geraldine Kerrigan, in the editions of July 12th, may have implied that Mr John Harrington, osteopath, of Martello Terrace, Sandycove, Co Dublin, had requested Mr Sean Boylan, herbalist, to supply particular herbal remedies to Ms Kerrigan. As Mr Boylan told the court, Mr Harrington contacted him and asked if he could help Ms Kerrigan, who was in a lot of pain. Mr Harrington had been asked to do so by relatives of Ms Kerrigan. Mr Harrington did not instruct Mr Boylan as to the nature of Ms Kerrigan's condition and he did not suggest treatment and The Irish Times regrets any implication in the report that this might have been the case.
