Executives at Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard are raising a glass to the success of its Jameson Irish whiskey brand as it passed the four-million-cases-a-year mark.

This comes just 18 months after it breached the three-million-a-year barrier and makes it one of Ireland’s biggest export success stories. The US is the biggest market with more than one million cases a year sold.

Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard chief executive Anna Malmhake said yesterday it was also achieving growth in many other markets.
