Weak prices drag down share index

German shares ended lower and were set for a consolidation period as weak prices dragged the IBIS Dax share index briefly below the pivotal 2,500 level, dealers said. "Trading volumes are very low and the market is getting quieter, but remaining volatile. Trading is very nervous and we reckon a correction is on the way," said a trader. Shares also succumbed to selling pressure from weaker German futures and bonds.
