A new "virtual" alumni network for business school graduates has been launched in Tralee, Co Kerry. It will offer its members postgraduate business development and strategic business intelligence information. With continuous learning an important feature of MBA training, MBA Global Network (www.mbaglobal.net) will allow members to update management skills and access planning and communications tools.
Other offerings include an MBA Global calling card, virtual personal assistant, MBA Extranet, translation services, diary management and online networking.
Full membership is open to MBA and MBS graduates and candidates, as well as business postgraduates from law and accountancy, and fellows and associates of chartered institutes for business professions.
Kerry-based chartered accountancy firm, Robert Casey & Co, is backing the project along with a number of investors from banking, media and accountancy. The project has also received European structural funds and is supported by Shannon Development.
