THE VHI board has appointed a sub committee to recommend a new chief executive for the organisation following the departure of Mr Brian Duncan. In a statement issued yesterday the board said the appointment "may be on a short term or interim basis". The statement followed a board meeting on Monday night. The sub committee is expected to report to the board "in a very short time".
