Myle Tap: a ‘thought catcher’ smart wearable for $79

Touch-activated voice recorder compatible with Facebook and Twitter apps

Myle Tap: not only will it save your musings for later reference, it can also launch applications on your smartphone without you ever having to touch it

Just when you thought we’d reached peak wearable, along comes the Myle Tap.

The Myle Tap, the spiel goes, is a “thought catcher”. That description makes it sound like some sort of hig-tech wizard that plucks the thoughts right out of your head and into its mysterious environs. “Thought catcher” is really just a PR hype for dictaphone.

But it’s a touch-activated voice recorder, and not only will it save your musings for later reference, it can also launch applications on your smartphone without you ever having to touch it.

So if you need to instruct your home heating to turn on, in theory Myle Tap should take the instruction and run with it. It connects to your phone via Bluetooth, and there is a list of apps it's compatible with including useful ones like One Note, and more frivolous ones such as Facebook and Twitter.
