Flubit opens for Irish business

UK-based shopping site Flubit is now offering Irish consumers the chance to find a better deal online. The company has linked up with Parcel Motel to offer Irish consumers cheaper products through its site.

Users submit the product link from any UK shopping site to Flubit and set up an account. The company then seeks a better offer, although there is no obligation to redeem it.

If you do decide to buy, the item is delivered through Parcel Motel, the Nightline courier service that gives Irish shoppers a UK shipping address and reduced delivery charges. It can take up to 48 hours to receive an offer from Flubit; the company allows you to speed up the process through points accumulated by referring people to Flubit.

There are some products Flubit cannot help with – tickets for events, services, vehicles and second-hand items are on the banned list. Also prohibited are items such as firearms and anything illegal. Flubit started business in September 2012, and has since met almost 50,000 demands from its customers. In March, the company won the overall prize at the London Web Summit.
