A new booklet for pensioners is designed to assist them in identifying their social welfare and other social services entitlements. The 40-page publication marks the International Year of Older Persons and is being sent out to 311,000 pensioners by the Department of Social, Community and Family Affairs.

The booklet also contains useful information regarding the Medical Card scheme and the drugs-payment scheme administered by the Health Board.
