A twice-weekly lifton/life-off container service will run between Belview Port in Waterford and Rotterdam, Antwerp and Le Havre from August 19th, Eucon Ltd, the container division of Irish Continental Group, has announced. The service will be run in conjunction with Eucon's vessel sharing partners, HKCIL, using facilities which were vacated following the closure of Bell Lines four weeks ago.

The announcement follows news that Coastal Container Line would operate a Lo-Lo service between the terminal and Cardiff.
