The New York Stock Exchange has held stepped-up talks recently about a linkage with Euronext, the merger of the Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels bourses, according to sources. In addition, the NYSE, the world's largest stock market, has also discussed similar linkage agreements with two Latin American exchanges and the Toronto Stock Exchange.
