The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association has announced that it has agreed a format with the Central Statistics Office format for companies to provide information to the state body. According to ISME, the complexity of questionnaires provided by the CSO has cost companies between 15 and 20 executive days a year. "That is primarily caused by the CSO looking for data in a form which is different from how most companies compile their statistical information," the ISME statement says. ISME council members will now make available their monthly, quarterly and annual accounts to assist the CSO in its data processing. "It was also agreed to provide the CSO with a small team of ISME council members who would advise on the different uses to which the CSO data could be put."
