The Department of Finance has rejected a Budget proposal from the Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) calling for duty rebates on fuel for the Irish haulage fleet. According to the IRHA such reallocated funds could be directly reinvested in creating a more environmentally friendly truck fleet.
