An annual exhibition for people aged over 50, the Third Age Expo, will be held from March 5th to 7th at the Simmonscourt Pavilion in the RDS. The event is designed to raise awareness of older people's needs and interests as well as highlighting some of the related inequalities such as age discrimination in employment.

Activities include free golf lessons and presentations by personal finance, gardening and painting experts.

The main stand, run by Bord Failte features the attractions of seven regions for holidays and breaks. There will also be an opportunity to taste and buy wines, investigate overseas properties, try free food samples and see the latest labour-saving devices for the house and garage.
