Dublin-quoted firm Elan has been awarded an "A+" ranking in annual the Forbes Global A-list of "400 best companies". Forbes magazine names the biggest, most profitable and most promising firm by sector and selects one stand-out "A+" group per sector. The US publication described Elan, the Republic's largest group by market capitalisation, as the world's market leader in drug delivery technology.
