Frank Dunne decided to push money into Fitzwilton stock a few years back, buying close to 11 per cent of the company in a move that started all sorts of speculation about his long-term intentions. Well, we may never know the real reason now, as Dunnes is selling out, leaving the bidding consortium with close to 100 per cent control.
