Mr John Dunne has been appointed chairman of IDA Ireland by the Tanaiste, Ms Harney. Mr Dunne, who is currently director-general of the Irish Business and Employers' Confederation (IBEC), will take up the position on July 1st. He replaces Mr Dennis Hanrahan, first chairman of the reconstituted IDA Ireland when it was established in 1994.
