Danfoss buys Sampson

The Dublin-based J J Sampson & Son group has been purchased by Danish company Danfoss for an undisclosed sum

The Dublin-based J J Sampson & Son group has been purchased by Danish company Danfoss for an undisclosed sum. Sampson's has been run as a family business for more than 47 years but has a long-time association with Danfoss. It employs 22 people at Blackrock and reported a turnover of £5 million in 1997. The company manufactures automatic controls for refrigeration, air conditioning components, heating and energy management and industrial process controls.
