Dana completes purchase of UK assets of National Power

Dana Petroleum has announced the completion of the acquisition of "UK upstream" assets of National Power for 17.6 million Dana shares.

The assets being acquired comprise a 10 per cent stake in the Victor gas field and a number of exploration interests offshore Britain.

Following the acquisition, National Power's stake in Dana will increase from 6.6 per cent to 8.6 per cent.
