IEX-listed exploration company Conroy Diamonds and Gold announced yesterday that the first drill holes at its Clay Lake gold target in Co Armagh produced positive gold results and indicated a “broad zone” of gold mineralisation.

Clay Lake covers an area of about 141 hectares and has returned the highest “gold-in-soil” values recorded by Conroy so far on its Irish exploration licences.
