AROUND THE BLOCK:The search is on for Ireland's best young collector and if you think you have what it takes you have until September 17th to enter a competition being run by the Irish Antique Dealer's Association (IADA) and myantiques.ie- owned by The Irish Times.
The winner will get €1,000 and the chance to showcase their collection at the annual IADA Fair in the RDS from October 5th-7th.
The collection can be comprised of anything, (coins, teddy bears, Irish silver, dolls, stamps, high school musical trump cards) and it will be judged by an expert panel comprising IADA president George Stacpoole, antique dealer Niall Mullen and The Irish Times property editor Madeleine Lyons.
We are looking for images of 10 pieces in total and a single written submission about the collection in no more than 250 words (explaining where the items have come from, how the collection came about, and how long you have been collecting.)
Photos should be attached separately. Entrants must be under 18
