PAUL Collins of CB Richard Ellis has called for best and final offers by Friday, July 22nd, for the Kestrel House Bar at Walkinstown Cross, Dublin 12, which was put into liquidation by the Revenue Commissioners last Christmas.
About half a dozen parties have shown interest in the licensed premises, one of the largest in Dublin with a floor area of 1,114sq m (12,000sq ft) and a turnover of €3.5 million. Collins is hoping to secure over €2.5 million for the business, a long way short of the €7.8 million paid for it at auction at the peak. An advertising hoarding outside the bar was enlarged last weekend to notify interested parties that there is “finance available”. The addition was made at the request of Bank of Ireland.
