Bagatt, the Italian-based fashion brand specialising in shoes, bags and accessories, is the latest overseas trader to move on to Wicklow Street.

The company has agreed a rent of €70,000 for a 55sq m (592sq ft) retail unit at 34 Wicklow Street plus a storage space of 35sq m (377sq ft).

The 10-year lease does not provide for any break options.

Up to now, Bagatt’s products have been sold in Dublin through a franchise arrangement.

Daniel Carty of JLL,who handled the letting on behalf of the landlord, said the arrival of Bagatt would maintain the exclusive brands currently based on Wicklow Street, such as adjoining traders Kiehl’s and Rockport.
