Shop in former bank to let 

A FORMER Bank of Ireland branch which has been converted into a retail store, at 10 Patrick Street, Cork has come on the letting market through Lisney. Margaret Kelleher is quoting a rent of €375,000 for the four-storey building which has retail use on the ground and first floors extending to 500sq m (5,385sq ft).The building is located between Marks & Spencer and Debenhams department stores. The nearby Opera Lane retail enclave is now almost fully let.

Aldi leases retail park store

GERMAN discount chain Aldi has leased a substantial store at Blackpool Retail Park in Cork. The international trader will be paying a rent of €301 per sq m (€28 per sq ft) for 1,021sq m (11,000sq ft) on the ground floor. It will also have almost half that space at first floor level for storage.

Aldi will join Heatons, Atlantic Homecare, Argos Exgtra and Next Home in the retail park which is adjacent to the Blackkpool shopping centre.
