The continuing growth in software development was underlined yesterday when the Tanaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms Harney, officially opened Case Corporation's Information Technology Centre in the IDA Navan Business Park which will create 240 jobs. Case Corporation is one of the world's largest designers, manufacturers and distributors of agricultural and construction equipment.
Meanwhile, the Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, opened the European and Bioscience & Marketing Centre of Alltech Ireland in Dunboyne, Co Meath, yesterday. The US-registered company produces enzymes for animal foodstuffs.
