Medical device firm Cambus Medical has announced a significant increase in employment; with the creation of 60 jobs it will more than treble the size of its Galway workforce.

The jobs at the company will be created over a three-year period. Cambus recently expanded its manufacturing facility, allowing it to treble production capacity, as well as providing facilities to support RD and new product introduction. Cambus Medical, which was founded in 2006, provides components for advanced catheters used in surgical procedures such as angioplasty. The company raised €500,000 earlier this year.
