AIM/CARAT lands £3m B of I account

AIM/CARAT has landed the £3 million (€3.8 million) Bank of Ireland media account

AIM/CARAT has landed the £3 million (€3.8 million) Bank of Ireland media account. It is a major piece of business for Mr Liam O'Donnell and Mr Alan Cox who won the account after a three-way pitch with Universal McCann and the Network. The new account represents a highly lucrative piece of business for the agency, which will now have to prepare for an increased volume of work.

In spite of strong presentations from other agencies, it is perhaps not entirely surprising that the business went where it did. The Network previously held the Bank of Ireland media account with Mr Cox leading the account team. Shortly after his departure to Carat two months ago, the bank's account was put on the market. McCann Erickson holds the main part of the Bank of Ireland advertising account.
