UCC 4-18 DCU 1-8:UCC MADE sure of their place in the last eight with a comfortable win over DCU at the Mardyke yesterday. They had the game wrapped up at the end of the first quarter, when leading by 3-3 to 0-1 following goals from Graeme Mulcahy (two) and James Cassin.
DCU rallied with a goal from a penalty by goalkeeper Bill McCormack, but UCC responded with a flurry of points to stretch their advantage to 14 by the break and an early second-half goal by Kevin Keehan sealed the vicory.
