BOHEMIANS striker Warren Parkes was one of four players suspended for two games yesterday

BOHEMIANS striker Warren Parkes was one of four players suspended for two games yesterday. The former Athlone player received the ban as a result of his sending-off in the reserve division game against St Patrick's Athletic.

Conor Frawley (Finn Harps), Leonard Curtis (Shamrock Rovers) and David Crawley (Dundalk) were also banned for two games as a result of reaching 20 penalty points in recent weeks. All four suspensions will take effect. from Monday, December 30th.

There was better news for Dundalk manager John Hewitt in the form of Brendan Markey's quick return from injury. Markey, on loan from Millwall, was injured in a clash during the game with St Patrick's Athletic but has recovered well and is expected to be included in the squad for the visit of Finn Harps.
