ALTHOUGH small in stature, the mare Triptodicks is not lacking in courage and is fancied to land the Tipp FM Handicap Chase at Clonmel this evening.
David Kiely, who trains the six year old for his bother in law Mick O'Huallachain, has certainly worked the oracle with Triptodicks, who hasn't finished out of the first two in her last three runs.
Last time out at Tramore, Triptodicks was not disgraced when going down by a length and a half to Galway scorer Beakstown.
The feature event of the seven race card is the Clonmel Handicap Hurdle. Only five go to post for what is a very moderate event. Chuck, who won a handicap hurdle at Wexford in July by an impressive eight lengths, may be worth a small interest.
Exceedingly landed some nice touches at Tramore last month and may follow up in the September Handicap.
. Kevin Darley will ride David Louder's supplementary entry Bianca Nera in the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday. Darley, who also rode the filly to win the Lowther Stakes at York last month, will be bidding for his second Irish Group win of the season.
