Tralee CBS 0-11 Rochestown CBS 0-9:TRALEE CBS withheld a second-half comeback by Rochestown CBS at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney, yesterday. Tralee led 0-8 to 0-2 thanks to the efforts of Niall Sheehy. Conor Jordan also impressed for Tralee as they restricted Rochestown to points from Aaron Ward and Graham Sheehan in the opening half.
Sheehan and Mark O’Connor rallied for Rochestown in the second half as they drew within two points of Tralee with five minutes remaining at 0-10 to 0-8.
However a superb move in the 57th minute saw Seán Moloney and Shane Crowley turn defence into attack with Jake Moran scoring his side’s first point in 15 minutes. Sheehan brought the margin back to two but Rochestown couldn’t find a winning goal.
