Elsewhere a brace for Harry Kane and a Christian Eriksen goal gave title-contenders Tottenham Hotspur a 3-0 win over Bournemouth at White Hart Lane, while Liverpool were beaten 3-2 by Southampton despite having been two goals up after just 22 minutes.

Cork completed a thoroughly miserable Allianz League hurling campaign yesterday as they were soundly beaten 2-27 to 2-15 by Tipperary in Thurles, a result that leaves the Rebels winless after five games and with a relegation play-off against Galway to look forward to.
Kilkenny have predictably topped Division 1A after easing past Dublin 0-23 to 1-14 while an injury time equaliser from Gavin O’Brien earned Waterford a 0-24 to 1-21 draw with Galway at Walsh Park.
