GAA: Castlecomer CS 4-7 St Mary's (Enniscorthy) 1-9:THREE goals inside the opening 12 minutes proved decisive as Castlecomer CS went on to a deserved seven-point victory in this third series Leinster Colleges A senior hurling championship game at Enniscorthy yesterday.

Full forward Charles Dwyer netted inside the first minute and goals from Andrew Carroll and Brendan Brophy put Castlecomer in the driving seat and earned them a 3-2 to 0-3 interval lead.

Brendan Kearney’s 48th-minute goal reduced the deficit but Castlecomer retained their composure to run out comfortable winners
