Soccer:Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane took a full part in training in Malahide today but there remains concern over a number of players in the camp. A lengthy list of ifs, buts and maybes was sent out this evening by the FAI, and though there appears to be nothing too serious, it seems there is plenty to ponder ahead of the Euro 2012 warm-up against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday.
The news regarding the skipper is undoubtedly good, after the LA Galaxy striker arrived only yesterday afternoon - having been nursing a minor hamstring strain - to train fully at Malahide United's Gannon Park today.
However, as was confirmed this morning, Shay Given (knee) and John O'Shea (ankle) are both expected to rest tomorrow again, as is Richard Dunne, who has sustained a "lower abdominal tear".
Dunne "will be fine for the Euros", the FAI have insisted, and the news the injury is not related to the broken collarbone that forced him to miss around 10 weeks of football with Aston VIlla late in the season, is reassuring, to say the least.
Keith Andrews and Jonathan Walters, who recovered from a knock to the knee this morning, both trained fully, as did Shane Long, despite an earlier scare.
Midfielder Keith Fahey (groin) is on course to be fit for Saturday and a call on Kevin Foley (hamstring), will be made later in the week.
