John Terry will play in tomorrow's Carling Cup final against Arsenal.

The Chelsea captain suffered an ankle injury during the midweek Champions League draw with Porto and it was feared the defender — who had only just returned after being sidelined by a back problem — could be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Ashley Cole is also expected to be included  in Jose Mourino's starting XI where he will line up against his former club.

Cole  was expected to be out for some time after suffering a knee ligament strain in a match against Blackburn in January. However, he played for 60 minutes for Chelsea Reserves at Reading during the week and showed no ill-effects.

Dutch winger Arjen Robben, who was substituted on Wednesday in the Porto game because of a muscle strain, should also be fit for the game.
