Sevilla have turned down two fresh bids for their highly-rated defender Daniel Alves, club president Jose Maria del Nido has revealed.
The 24-year-old Alves has been the centre of much transfer speculation this summer, with both Chelsea and Real Madrid being closely linked with a move for the Brazilian full-back.
Chelsea reportedly had a €31.5million offer for Alves turned down last week, with the Spanish media suggesting that Sevilla want at least €40m for the player.
Del Nido did not reveal which clubs had made the latest offers yesterday, but said in Marca: "We have rejected in the last few hours two new offers which do not meet our requirements."
