Drogheda United extended their lead at the top of the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division to four points with a 1-0 win over fourth-placed Bohemians at United Park tonight.

Tony Grant's goal three minutes from time secured full points in a game which Bohemians will feel they deserved at least a point from.

The striker's goal, against his former club, came by way of a looping header from Shane Robinson's cross.

Second placed St Patrick's Athletic don't play until Sunday when they host Longford Town at Richmond Park.
