Champions League runners-up Liverpool must overcome Toulouse if they are to reach the group stages of this year's competition after the draw for the third qualifying round was made this morning.

The draw wasn't particularly kind to the four British clubs involved with Arsenal facing a tricky encounter against Sparta Prague.

Celtic will have their work cut out against Spratak Moscow while Rangers, assuming they overcome FK Zeta  in the second round, are likely to meet former champions Red Star Belgrade.

The Reds, who have won the competition five times and were beaten in last season's final, must face the Ligue 1 side over two legs for a place in the lucrative section of the competition.
