Tommy Bowe has been afforded the opportunity to reestablish his credentials when Ulster take on Munster at Ravenhill tomorrow night.
Bowe, dropped by Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan after under-performing in the Six Nations matches against Italy and France, will start for Ulster as they welcome the Celtic League pacesetters to Belfast.
The 22-year-old replaces James Topping on the wing while Jonny Bell comes into the side to cover Andrew Trimble. Trimble took Bowe's international place for the win over Wales and has not been released by the Irish management.
A win for Mark McCall's side will leapfrog them above Munster, who have yet to finalise their starting line-up.
Elsewhere, Leinster flanker Keith Gleeson has been voted the province's player-of-the-month for a second time this season.
"It means a lot that this award was voted for by the supporters themselves because the support that we received throughout January was incredible in both the Celtic League and the Heineken Cup and hopefully
there will be more to cheer about in the coming weeks and months," he commented.
