Powerful Cork hold all the aces

WEXFORD v CORK   THIS HAS the makings of a rip-roaring contest

WEXFORD v CORK  THIS HAS the makings of a rip-roaring contest. No one could read too deeply into Cork's 18-point hammering of inept Cavan last weekend, though it's no surprise Cork are unchanged.

However, Graham Canty reverts to full back, Michael Shields goes to centre back, with John Miskella now at wing back.

Wexford are also unchanged from their shock and somewhat fortunate win over Galway last Saturday. Although they have the forwards to test Cork, they’re unlikely to be able to contain them at the other end.

This is the teams’ first meeting in the championship since 1894.
