The Central Competitions Control Committee met last night to decide whether any further action is to be taken against Cork defender Noel O'Leary after television replays caught him clearly striking Meath's Graham Geraghty in Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final.
O'Leary was shown a yellow card for the incident, but the CCCC can send video evidence to referee Brian Crowe seeking a sterner sanction before the referee's report is submitted.
The committee were also due to revisit the case of Dublin hurler Peadar Carton, who is hoping to avoid finishing his eight-week suspension as it would rule him out of the Under-21 All-Ireland final on September 9th.
