St Mary's of Drogheda eased through to the semi-finals of the Junior Cup, Section A with a comprehensive win over St David's, Greystones, at Terenure. Inspired by flanker Vincent O'Dowd, who notched three tries, St Mary's proved too strong from the start with Kevin Fagan and Conall McGinley helping them to a 17-0 half-time lead. The Drogheda side remained in command thereafter despite strong running from St David's Daragh Breen and Alan Smith. O'Dowd completed his hat-trick for a deserved St Mary's victory.
