INTERNATIONAL flanker Ken O'Connell made his debut for London Irish after his weekend move to the Exiles and he produced one of the few impressive performances for his new club in their 34-13 European conference defeat by French club Bourgoin.

Niall Woods was the only try scorer for London Irish as the game slipped away after being behind by just 10-6 at half time.
