Modeeroch has drawn a blank in five starts this year but the seven furlongs of this evening's Fairy Bridge Stakes at Tipperary can prove the key to her getting home in front this time.

For a filly that got within two lengths of winning last year's Cheveley Park at Newmarket, Modeeroch's three-year-old campaign has been relatively under-whelming although there was plenty to like about the way she ran behind Mustameet and Ace over a mile at the Curragh.

However, that looked to be on the edge of her stamina range and seven furlongs, over which she won the Tyros last year, looks much more suitable than the six at which she ran last time out.

Cheyenne Star won a handicap in impressive fashion at Leopardstown on Sunday but might be better at six furlongs while, in contrast, the Guineas placed Ardbrae Lady would probably relish a mile. The day's other Listed contest, the Danehill Dancer Tipperary Stakes, was won by Dandy Man last year and the return to the minimum distance can work the oracle for Drayton who looks up to conceding weight all round.

Kieren Fallon should land the opener on Chief Crazy Horse who starts at five furlongs for the first time while the Gowran winner So Well Red is hard to get away from in the nine furlongs conditions race.

Steig was third to So Well Red earlier this month in what was his first start of the season and normal improvement from that can see him beat Tikraar in the mile maiden at Bellewstown.Coin Man has topweight in the three-mile handicap but a win at Sligo, and a good run at Galway, suggests the trip will be ideal.
