At a time when people are remembering those who died during the world wars, The Island golf club is missing a very valuable piece of the history of the club - a roll of honour. The framed scroll with the names of 36 men and women members of The Island who died during the first World War. The scroll was removed from its place of prominence last week and the members of the club are anxious for it to be returned to the club. Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the scroll should contact the club at 01 84 36 205.
