Longford's excellent recent form continued at Flancare Park on Saturday night when they beat Bray Wanderers for the first time in the Premier Division.

Stephen Fox volleyed Bray ahead inside 90 seconds and when Paul Keegan doubled this advantage with a wonderful glancing header in the 32nd minute, the writing looked on the wall for Longford.

Stephen Kenny's men, however, refused to be rattled and a goal from Eric Lavine in the 42nd minute put some wind in their sails.

Lavine's second goal in the 63rd minute came after a goalmouth scramble and the winnercame 11 minutes later, direct from Stewart Holt's corner kick, following a mix-up in the Bray defence.
