A penalty save by their goalkeeper Richard Bowles highlighted Limerick's win over Tipperary in the McGrath Cup at Askeaton yesterday.
Tipperary led at half-time by 0-8 to 1-3, but such was Limerick's dominance in the second half that they restricted Tipperary to a single score, a goal by Michael Ormonde which came after Bowles had made his penalty save.
