CRAIG JOINER has been passed fit to take his place in Scotland's side for Saturday's Calcutta Cup clash with England at Murrayfield.

Logan, who replaced Joiner during the Cardiff match and set up Gregor Townsend's match-winning try, has a hamstring strain.

While Joiner was taking a full part in the training session his Melrose clubmate Bryan Red path was forced to watch much of it from the sidelines, suffering from a slight back strain and a cold.

But manager Jim Telfer is confident that Red path will be fit to orchestrate Scotland's bid to carry off the Five Nations championship.
