Clare 1-9 Wicklow 0-11: A STUNNING comeback by Clare in the second half earned them the points over Wicklow at Cusack Park yesterday.
Mick O’Dwyer’s men led 0-7 to 0-2 at the break and, with further scores by Tony Hannon and Leighton Glynn, led by seven by the 40th minute.
But Clare replied with six unanswered scores from David Tubridy (three) Alan Clohessy, Laurence Healy and David Russell and Gearóid Lynch’s 60th-minute goal proved the game’s key score.
