Shane Gallagher emerged as Sligo's super sub with a dramatic stoppage-time goal that dethroned champions Galway at Markievicz Park on Saturday.

A point by Kieran Comer deep into extra time looked to have sealed the game for the champions, but Gallagher, put through by O'Grady, hammered the ball past a mesmerised David Morris.
