The Leinster Senior Hurling Championship quarter-final replay between Dublin and Galway in Tullamore will now be televised, it has been announced.

RTÉ2 will be showing live coverage of the fixture at O’Connor Park which seemed unlikely to be broadcast earlier this week.

With Sky showing their first live match of the summer between Laois against Kildare at the same venue, there were fears the replay, with its 4.45pm throw-in time, could infringe on Sky’s coverage.

However RTÉhave received permission from the GAA to present live coverage of the match, which follows last weekend’s 0-20 to 1-17 draw at Croke Park.

RTÉ 2’s coverage of Saturday’s Champions League final between Barcelona and Juventus in Berlin will begin at 6.45pm after the Saturday Game Live.
